He said Zalkalns suffers from 'psychological problems' and never showed any remorse for stabbing his wife Rudite, 22, through the heart and burying her in a shallow grave. It has also emerged that the Latvian murderer was investigated over claims he drugged and molested a girl of 14 in London, but the girl withdrew her statement.
